360° Panorama
A spherical image that captures everything around a viewpoint, usually stored as a stretched equirectangular picture. Consumer 360 cameras and virtual tours made it common in the 2010s.

Spot it
- 01Stretched curved horizon
- 02Warped poles top and bottom
- 03Wide seamless sweep
Why it happens
Several overlapping views are stitched and projected onto a sphere, then unwrapped to a rectangle, which stretches the areas near the top and bottom.

Image edit prompt“Reframe this image as a full 360 degree equirectangular panorama: the scene extended all the way around in a two-to-one wide format, the horizon gently curved, strong stretching and warping near the zenith and ground, seamless left and right edges and even natural lighting. Keep the original subject and composition at the center.”
