Pixio for After Effects

An agent that builds in your timeline, not a render you cannot edit.

Native layers. Real keyframes. One undo per action.

Dock Pixio next to your comp and direct it like a junior animator. It builds shape layers, masks, rigs, cameras and keyframes natively — everything stays editable, and every action is a single undo step. Bring your own Claude Code, Codex or Cursor login; Pixio never proxies the model.

Pixio for Blender

An agent that builds in the scene you already have open.

Real objects, modifiers and keyframes. Not a mesh you cannot edit.

Dock Pixio in the sidebar and describe the shot. It blocks out geometry at real-world scale, sets the camera, lights it, builds materials and renders — natively, so everything stays editable afterwards. It works on the file in front of you, not a headless copy, and it renders the viewport to check its own framing. Bring your own Claude Code, Codex or Cursor login; Pixio never proxies the model.

Step-by-step guides for every method

What you need

Blender 3.3 or newer, on Windows, macOS or Linux
Claude Code, Codex or Cursor installed and signed in
No code signing, no developer mode — a Blender add-on is just a ZIP
A Pixio API key, optional, for generated textures and sky environments

Your agent, your subscription

The chat runs the Claude Code, Codex or Cursor subscription you already pay for. No model keys sit with us, and nothing about your scene goes to Pixio unless you ask for a generation.

All of Blender, not a subset

337 tools across its catalogues: modelling, rigging with automatic weights and Rigify, physics and cloth, shape keys, import and export, and the sight tools it uses to look at its own work. Four of them open everything else — it searches the live API for the exact operator and enum names in your Blender build, calls any of the ~1,500 operators, and reads or writes any RNA path. Written against 3.3 through 5.x, including the renames each version brought.

It works in the open file

Objects, lights and materials appear in your viewport as it works. Every tool call is one undo step, so you can take any of it back by hand — and take over at any point.

It looks at its own renders

A render comes back to the agent as an image, not a filename. It checks framing with a fast viewport pass between steps, renders properly before calling anything done, and runs a critique pass against sixteen measurable tells of a machine-made scene.

Your work is snapshotted

After every turn that changes the scene, a copy is saved aside — so a crash, or an agent that goes wrong, never costs you the session. Your own file and its save state are never written to.

Craft, not guesswork

Twelve guides ship inside the add-on: real-world scale tables, light energies in Watts by subject size, focal lengths by shot, roughness and metallic per material family, sample counts with their render times, the imperfection layer that separates a render from a photograph, the joint counts and radius ratios for building creatures, and the critique pass. It reads the relevant ones before it builds.

A real chat, beside Blender

01
Download Pixio Setup
One 3.9 MB application for Windows. Tick the plugins you want and the agent you pay for, and it does the rest: it installs the add-on into every Blender version it finds, then installs and signs you in to the agent. It is not code-signed, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time. Choose More info, then Run anyway. It never asks for administrator rights — everything it writes is in your own user folder.
Pixio-Setup.exe
02
Close Blender, then run it
It refuses to install over a running Blender, because that leaves a half-written add-on behind. Tick Blender, pick your agent, and press Install.
03
Enable it
Start Blender, then Edit → Preferences → Add-ons, search “Pixio” and tick it.
04
Open the panel
In the 3D viewport press N and choose the Pixio tab. The bridge starts with Blender on localhost.
