Why it happens
A tracker finds facial landmarks every frame, and a mesh built from them anchors 2D and 3D graphics so they stay aligned as the head moves.

Image edit prompt“Add a playful AR filter aesthetic to this image: a floating flower crown or cartoon ears sticker above the head, soft pastel sparkles, glittering stars drifting around, a gentle pink glow and a cute social-app overlay look. Use only added graphics. Do not change the person's face, features or identity. Keep the original subject and composition.”
