Point Cloud Rendering
A way of showing scanned 3D space as thousands of colored dots instead of surfaces. Lidar-based scanning, famously in Radiohead's House of Cards video in 2008, gave the look a cultural moment.

Spot it
- 01Dense glowing dots
- 02Hollow see-through volumes
- 03Dark void background
Why it happens
A scanner records many 3D positions, often with color, and a renderer draws each as a tiny point, leaving gaps where surfaces were not captured.

Keep the original subject and composition.”
