Convex Hull Mask
The smallest convex polygon that encloses an object, computed by classic geometry algorithms such as the Graham scan of 1972. It gives a simple, rubber-band silhouette used for shape measurement and rough masks.

Spot it
- 01Straight-edged polygon outline
- 02Filled gaps between limbs
- 03Original shape inside
Why it happens
Finds the outermost points of a shape and connects them in order, like stretching a rubber band around it, so the boundary never turns inward.

Image edit prompt“Show a convex hull mask of this image: take the main subject's silhouette and draw the smallest convex polygon around it, with straight edges, filled solid white on a black background. Concave gaps between limbs and details are filled in, and the polygon's vertices are marked with tiny red dots. Keep the original subject recognizable.”
