Polaroid SX-70
A folding instant camera and self-developing film launched by Edwin Land's company in 1972. Its glossy square prints with soft color made it a favorite of snapshot makers and artists.

Why it happens
Chemical reagent spreads between the film layers after exposure, developing and fixing the color dyes in minutes, and the film's color response gives a warm, soft look.
