Wireframe CGI
Early computer graphics showing objects as outlines of connected lines. Edwin Catmull's 1972 animated hand and 1970s films such as Westworld brought the look into moving pictures.

Spot it
- 01Glowing thin vector lines
- 02Transparent polygon mesh
- 03Black empty background
Why it happens
A computer stores a model as vertices joined by edges and draws only those edges, so the surface stays empty and all hidden lines remain visible through the object.

Image edit prompt“Convert this image into 1970s wireframe computer graphics: the subject becomes a transparent polygon mesh made of thin glowing green lines, visible hidden edges, faceted low-polygon geometry on a pure black background, slight phosphor bloom and scan line flicker. Keep the original subject and composition.”
