Latent-Space Morphing
A transition that glides between two generated images by interpolating their internal codes, creating dreamlike shape-shifting rather than a cross-fade. It became a popular visual in generative-art videos from the late 2010s onward.

Spot it
- 01Fluid shape-shifting forms
- 02Impossible in-between hybrids
- 03Seamless continuous transformation
Why it happens
Each image corresponds to a point in a learned latent space, and moving smoothly between two points yields intermediate pictures that blend structure and texture in plausible ways.

Image-to-video prompt“Animate this image as a latent-space morph: the subject continuously and smoothly transforms through a series of dreamlike hybrid forms, shapes flowing into new shapes with consistent lighting, textures melting and re-forming, colors drifting, a slow gentle camera drift, never cutting or cross-fading. Keep the original subject recognizable at the start and end.”
