X-Ray Radiograph
Images made with X-rays, discovered by Wilhelm Röntgen in 1895. They show bones and dense objects inside bodies and containers, and spread quickly through medicine, science and popular fascination.

Spot it
- 01Glowing pale skeletal structure
- 02Dark blue-black background
- 03Semi-transparent soft tissue
Why it happens
X-rays pass through soft material but are absorbed by dense matter such as bone and metal, so the film or detector shows contrast according to material density.

Image edit prompt“Transform this image into a vintage X-ray radiograph: inverted translucent grayscale, glowing white dense structures, soft gray flesh and surfaces that look see-through, a dark blue-black ground, faint film grain, slight blooming and subtle scan noise. Show internal structure suggestively without text. Keep the original subject and composition.”
