White Balance Shift
A scaling of color channels that moves an image toward warmer or cooler lighting. It corrects color casts from lamps and shade, or creates a golden-hour or icy mood on purpose.

Spot it
- 01Warm amber or cool cast
- 02Shifted whites and grays
- 03Mood-driven color temperature
Why it happens
Multiplies the red, green and blue channels by separate gains so that a chosen reference tone becomes neutral, or deliberately skews them for a warm or cool cast.

Image edit prompt“Apply a white balance shift to this image: simulate a very warm color temperature, with whites and grays turned amber-orange, skin tones golden and shadows slightly brown, as if lit by a tungsten lamp at sunset. Keep contrast and brightness unchanged. Keep the original subject and composition recognizable.”
