Scanline Displacement
Individual horizontal rows are shifted sideways by different amounts, tearing the picture into jittery strips. It simulates unstable analog sync, or serves as deliberate glitch distortion in digital art.

Spot it
- 01Horizontally shifted rows
- 02Jagged ripple edges
- 03Torn striped distortion
Why it happens
Each row of pixels is offset horizontally by a value from noise or a wave function, with occasional rows jumping far, keeping the rows themselves intact.
