Scanimate Analog Animation
An analog computer that twisted, spun and colorized flat artwork for television. Lee Harrison III's Computer Image Corporation used Scanimate for 1970s network logos, title cards and commercials.

Why it happens
Artwork is shot by a high-contrast camera and its scan is warped by analog voltages, then re-colored and fed back to produce smooth, glowing, electronic motion.

Image-to-video prompt“Animate this image in 1970s Scanimate style: the artwork flies in, swirls and twists in space with glowing neon edges, rainbow gradient color, trailing echo copies and soft video noise on a dark background, ending in a clean stable shot after six seconds. Keep the original subject and composition at the end.”
