A British digital painting workstation launched by Quantel in 1981, used for TV graphics, weather maps and music videos. Artists drew with a stylus on a tablet, producing airbrushed gradients and hard-edged cut-outs.

Image edit prompt“Restyle this image as an 80s TV graphic made on a digital paint system: smooth airbrushed gradients, hard-edged cutout shapes with drop shadows, glossy chrome highlights, saturated electric blues, magentas and yellows, slightly soft video resolution and bold flat color fills. Keep the original subject and composition.”
