Pincushion Distortion
The opposite of barrel distortion: straight lines bow inward toward the center, with stretched corners. It occurs in telephoto lenses and some old cathode-ray displays.

Spot it
- 01Inward curved edges
- 02Pulled-out corners
- 03Pinched frame sides
Why it happens
Each pixel's distance from the center is scaled by a factor that grows with radius, so outer areas are magnified more than the center and lines bow inward.

Keep the original subject and composition.”
