Barrel Lens Warp
A mild lens distortion where straight lines bow outward, as in many wide-angle lenses and old camcorders. It is easier to see in rectangular objects near the frame edges.

Spot it
- 01Outward bowing lines
- 02Rounded frame edges
- 03Magnified center
Why it happens
Each pixel's distance from the center is multiplied by a factor that increases with radius, so outer areas are stretched less than the middle and the lines bow outward.

Image edit prompt“Apply barrel lens distortion to this image: straight lines bowing outward like a bulging box, a magnified center, edges compressed inward toward the frame border, slightly curved rectangular borders, otherwise a natural photographic look. Keep the original subject and composition.”
