Focus Stacking
A technique that merges several photos focused at different distances into one image sharp from front to back. Macro photographers and software such as Helicon Focus made it common in the 2000s.

Spot it
- 01Everything razor sharp
- 02Extreme macro detail
- 03No depth-of-field falloff
Why it happens
Each frame has a thin sharp slice, and software picks the sharpest pixels from every frame and blends them, extending depth of field beyond what any one aperture could give.

Keep the original subject and composition.”
