Rolling Shutter Wobble
Cameras with CMOS sensors read rows one after another, so fast motion bends vertical lines and shakes jello-like. It is a familiar artifact in phone and drone video.

Spot it
- 01Skewed vertical lines
- 02Jello-like bending
- 03Row-by-row lag
Why it happens
The sensor reads each row at a slightly later time, so a moving camera or subject shifts progressively from top to bottom, shearing and wobbling the frame.
Recreate it in Pixio
Image-to-video prompt“Animate this image with a rolling shutter wobble: a quick camera shake that makes vertical lines skew and ripple like jelly, rows lagging progressively from top to bottom, subtle motion blur, smooth handheld energy. Keep the subject and composition recognizable.”
