Pulfrich Effect
A depth illusion described by Carl Pulfrich in 1922. With a darker lens over one eye, objects moving sideways seem to travel in a curved path, in front of or behind the screen.

Why it happens
Dimmer light reaches the brain slightly later, so one eye sees an older position of a moving object, and the mismatch is interpreted as depth.

Image-to-video prompt“Animate this image with continuous steady sideways motion, such as a slow lateral camera slide or objects drifting across the frame, to create a Pulfrich depth illusion: smooth horizontal parallax, a slightly darkened tint, strong foreground and background separation and no rapid cuts. Keep the original subject and composition.”
