Photogram
A camera-less photograph made by placing objects directly on light-sensitive paper and exposing it. Man Ray's Rayographs and László Moholy-Nagy's experiments in the 1920s made it a modernist art form.

Spot it
- 01White object silhouettes on black
- 02Soft gradient shadows
- 03Translucent overlaps
Why it happens
Objects block or partly transmit light onto photographic paper, so shapes appear white where blocked and in graded gray where partly transparent.

Image edit prompt“Convert this image into a camera-less photogram: glowing white silhouettes of the main shapes on a velvety black ground, translucent gray overlaps, soft gradient edges where objects lifted from the paper, subtle dust, and the dreamlike high-contrast look of a darkroom contact exposure. Keep the original subject and composition.”
