Frame Interpolation
New in-between frames are synthesized from two neighbouring frames, raising frame rate or creating slow motion. It estimates motion between frames and warps pixels, and sometimes causes smearing on fast motion.

- 01Silky smooth motion
- 02Extra in-between frames
- 03Slow-motion fluidity
Why it happens
Motion between two frames is estimated, both frames are warped to the halfway time, and the results are blended and refined to form the new intermediate frame.
