Canvas Extension
Also called outpainting, it grows the picture beyond its original borders by generating plausible new content that continues the scene. It is used to change aspect ratios or reveal more of a setting.

Spot it
- 01Seamless extended borders
- 02Matching light and perspective
- 03Wider scene context
Why it happens
The original image is placed on a larger canvas, the new area is masked, and a generative model fills it conditioned on the visible pixels so edges and style continue.
