The brief
The whole video is a single character study. If the man is not charismatic in every frame, the locations do not matter, so the performance was locked before any set was built.
The structure is a night out told in order: hotel room, corridor, elevator, car, club. Linear, so the audience always knows where he is going.

Design
The suit
The velvet suit is the continuity anchor. Its colour and cut have to survive warm hotel light, cold elevator light, passing streetlights in the car, and club strobes without changing character.

Playing it smooth
Small business sells the character: a cuff adjusted, a glance in the elevator mirror, a lean back in the car seat. The dancing in the club is loose and easy rather than choreographed.
Give the performer an objective in every shot, even a tiny one. A man who is fixing his collar reads as alive. A man who is standing there reads as a render.
